Golf Course Superintendent

18-hole town-owned property purchased in 1979.

– Lead successful operation in deilvering a quality course, while adhering to a restricted budget.

– Communicate across many officials, including town-employed General Manager.

– Initiated a course projects plan; 3 holes of new cart paths, repair and addition to irrigation.

RYE GOLF CLUB 2019 TO 2021

RYE, NY

Assistant Superintendent

18-hole private club designed by Devereux Emmet in 1920.

– Proper maintenance in all facets of golf course operations, including business management, turfgrass science, integrated pest management, environmental compliance, proper irrigation and drainage practices, as well as, equipment maintenance and repair.

DYKER BEACH GOLF COURSE 2012 TO 2019

BROOKLYN, NY

18-hole municipal facility designed by John Van Kleek and opened in 1930; also features a 15 acre state-of-the art Junior Golf Center/Practice facility.

– Developed a strong track record of effective interactions between corporate management, guests, and others to ensure optimum playing conditions, through a strict budget and an array of challenging weather conditions.

– Committed to environmental stewardship of the land through strict adherence to responsible management practices working with officials from the FDNY, DEP, DEC and the New York City Department of Parks.

WESTCHESTER COUNTRY CLUB 2007 TO 2012

RYE, NY

Assistant Golf Course Superintendent

45-hole private facility with 20 tennis courts (5 grass, 15 Har-Tru), 5 paddle tennis courts, and a practice / driving range facility; designed by Walter Travis and opened in 1922.

– Assisted in course preparation for the 2011 Constellation Energy Senior Players Championship, as well as, the 2007 Barclays Classic (First tournament of the 2007 Fed Ex Cup Series), gaining solid managerial experience maintaining tournament level conditions.

– Gained valuable knowledge in construction with several projects, including re-grassing greens from predominately Poa to all Bentgrass, building of a new putting green, and construction of new target greens for an extensive Practice Facility.

– Acquired influential knowledge through the installation of an XGD Drainage System.
