CONSTRUCTION

Eric has direct experience with many aspects of golf course construction and renovation. A few key projects are highlighted below.

RE-GRASSING GREENS

Conversion of predominantly Poa greens to Bentgrass. The process involved deep aerification, topdressing, stripping sod, grooming, adding soil amendments, and finally laying new sod.

POND CONSTRUCTION

Obtained beneficial experience through the installation of a large-scale drainage project, including the construction of an irrigation pond.

TARGET GREENS CONSTRUCTION

New target greens were added to compliment an extensive practice facility.

GREENS DRAINAGE

Acquired influential knowledge through the installation and implementation of an XGD (Existing Greens Drainage) System, which is a subsurface drainage system designed primarily to improve drainage for an existing green without rebuilding the entire green.

TREE WORK

Utilization of a tree spade was used to move large trees instead of removing them.

NEW PUTTING GREEN CONSTRUCTION

A new practice putting green was built with the latest practices in construction.
